It’s starting to feel as if a week can’t go by without Drake breaking some sort of record, if only because his unprecedented chart dominance in 2018 shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon. Billboard reports that Drizzy has, in fact, smashed another record this week, tying with Black Eyed Peas for the second-highest number of weeks at the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 during a calendar year.

Drake’s “In My Feelings” has just landed its seventh week at the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, totaling 59.4 million U.S. streams in the week ending Aug. 23. “In My Feelings” broke the weekly streaming record with 116.2 million streams during the week ending July 19. The 6 God has occupied the top spot on the chart for 26 weeks so far this year, thanks to the success of the unstoppable “God’s Plan,” which held down No. 1 for 11 weeks, and “Nice for What,” which was No. 1 for eight weeks.

The only artist to manage more than 26 weeks at No. 1 in a calendar year is Usher, who managed 28 weeks back in 2004. Judging from how well Drake’s music has been performing this year, however, it seems highly likely he’ll eclipse Usher’s record before the end of the year.
